About Us

The ADAMS Children‘s Education Program

The ADAMS Children‘s Education Program (Saturday School) offers an opportunity for children, from Kindergarten (4.5 years old) to 12th grade (only until 6th grade for boys), to access to basic Islamic knowledge through an interactive and age appropriate approach.

The CEP‘s purpose is to help students develop pride in themselves as young Muslims in America and teach students the social skills needed to deal effectively with the challenges facing Muslims in today‘s society. CEP seeks to provide an environment where Islamic values based on the Qur‘an and Sunnah and to help preserve the Muslim identities by providing lessons and activities infused with Islamic values and morals.

The CEP offers children an opportunity to build a relationship with the community and to establish a sense of brotherhood and sisterhood from a young age.

For more information about the CEP, please call 703-433-1325 ext. 104 or stop by at Adams-Ashburn between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Our Mission

ADAMS‘ mission is to provide religious, social, and educational services to enable the Muslim community to fulfill its responsibilities and contribute to the betterment of society by embodying and exemplifying leadership and excellence and fostering peace.

Our Vision

To help the students grow in a positive direction towards becoming good Muslims. We are not here to pass or fail them on report cards. We are all here to help instill good Islamic moral beliefs in the students.

Our Philosophy

ADAMS‘ is dedicated to providing an integrated academic and Islamic program which develops self-directed and resourceful learners. We consider the whole child and the stages of life development to help us engender a strong sense of self and a life-long commitment to learning and to Islamic traditions.

Spiritually, it is our goal to inspire every child's personal connection to Allah, suhanahu wa'tala. By offering a dynamic curriculum that focus on core foundational knowledge of Islam such as Qur'anic Studies, Islamic Creed, Rights and Responsibilities Towards Parents, Study of the Life of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings upon him, and History and Contributions of Muslims we hope our students will not only embrace their Islamic identity but will work toward further contributions of their own.
